A helpful tip from our expert: If you do not feel like you want to replace wiper blades too often, here is a good tip you should consider. Grab any glass water repellent and rub your windshield with it. Such liquids are usually not too expensive, and will help you prolong the life of your wiper blades. Water repellents create a thin transparent film over your windshield and the raindrops simply get blown off when you drive. Besides, when the glass is treated this way, it becomes extremely smooth and easy-to-glide for your wipers. So, it minimizes wear-and-tear of the wiper blades and prolongs their lifespan.
